Manly call on police to present evidence

Manly will cooperate with the NRL and organised crime squad's probe into alleged match-fixing, but but the club says it is yet to be contacted by either body regarding the matter.

The Sea Eagles released a statement condemning reports two matches involving Manly were under examination, reiterating NRL CEO Todd Greenberg's assertion that no formal investigation had yet begun.

"We will continue to support our players one hundred per cent and give them the presumption of innocence - particularly against unfair mainstream and social media innuendo," Manly chairman Scott Penn and CEO Joe Kelly said in a joint statement.
